Hoodtrophy Bino - CBFW

This duality is already present in the first track, where the artist's voice asserts itself without compromise, before being overwhelmed by the echo of a refrain that hints at the rise of their ambition.

Official launch of CBFW

On June 27, 2025, Hoodtrophy Bino releases CBFW under the Hoodtrophy Records label. The first track, “CBFW”, introduces the Los Angeles rap scene with a raw approach and storytelling that resonates with the local scene. The final track, “Bring Her Out” (feat. Radio Base), concludes the album on a note that reflects the journey from Chosen Few.

Street collaboration and flow

The second track, “123,” features Lefty Gunplay, adding a distinctive flow that enhances the song’s street vibe. The interplay between the two artists creates a dynamic where Bino’s originality blends with Gunplay’s rhythmic strength, reinforcing the narrative of a city that never sleeps. Heem’s catchy chorus provides a contrast that broadens the appeal of the song while maintaining the consistency of Bino’s universe. In “Act Different” (feat. Bravo the Bagchaser), Bravo’s aggressive energy is highlighted. The artist’s rhythmic lyrics add a dynamic touch that reinforces the narrative of strength and determination. “Understand” (feat. Heembeezy, Cypress Moreno) is a blend of voices that strengthens the additional introspections provided by Heembeezy. The interaction between the two artists creates an atmosphere where the lyrical depth is enriched, while maintaining the overall tone of the project. The artist’s voice broadens the appeal of the song while preserving Bino’s narrative strength. NoCap’s flow blends with Bino’s to create an exchange that amplifies the tension of the track.

Narrative progression of the project

The progression of CBFW is structured around a continuous narrative. The featured artists punctuate this narrative by adding distinct voices that complement the emotional arcs. The melody and catchy chorus open the door to a broader narrative, where Bino's strength is juxtaposed with Heem's voice. "Understand" (feat. Heembeezy, Cypress Moreno) follows this logic, further exploring the themes introduced while adding an additional introspective dimension thanks to Heembeezy. The final track, "Bring Her Out" (feat. Radio Base), concludes the album by summarizing Bino's evolution while offering a sound that reflects the maturity gained.

Career Positioning

CBFW sits between Chosen Few and Lost In My Heart, both released in 2025. By collaborating with several emerging artists – Lefty Gunplay, FCG Heem, Bravo the Bagchaser, Heembeezy, and NoCap – Bino strengthens his position on the Los Angeles rap scene while maintaining a style that remains true to his roots. In CBFW, Hoodtrophy Bino successfully weaves a continuous narrative, where each featured artist becomes an additional chapter in his story. The 40 minute 17 second album offers a balance between solo tracks and collaborations, further solidifying the artist's presence in the 2025 rap landscape. The thematic progression, from dark to melodic, demonstrates the evolution of Bino's lyrical tone, culminating in "Bring Her Out," which serves as a cohesive narrative summary of his artistic ascent.
