L'Allemand - Pour les vrais

Editorial note7,5/ 10
By Le Stagiaire·

For the real ones, L'Allemand's EP released in May 2025 on Six Nueve Records marks a particular moment in his career. Three years after Ma Vie, he returns with a shorter project, but equally assertive.

MS-13 and the collaboration with TK

The track MS-13, the second song on the EP, welcomes TK alongside him. His voice brings a tonal and rhythmic contrast that broadens the sonic palette without distorting L'Allemand's style. Even though he isn't mentioned much, TK seems to bring vocal density that resonates with the energy of the beat. This choice shows that he seeks collaborations that serve the song, not just for co-presence.

No credited producers: a production left to interpretation

No producer is named in the primary sources. This omission does not make the EP less relevant; rather, it highlights a desire to let the sound impose itself naturally. Without producer names or detailed track reveals, we are faced with an album that seems more meant to be interpreted than analyzed. It can be perceived as a weakness — lack of technical information — or as a strength: the artist does not seek to impose a rigid framework, but rather lets the audience appropriate the project.

From Ma Vie to Pour les vrais: continuity or turning point?

The absence of named producers and the limited number of features — three out of seven tracks — suggest an intention to save money as well as a reflection on what is essential in an artistic project. Is it a return to previous practices? Perhaps. But without concrete elements, we can only speculate.

Sixnueve and the Role of Collaborations

The label Six Nueve Records plays a key role here. By associating L'Allemand with artists like TK, DA Uzi, or Mister You — even if their exact contribution remains vague — it seems to aim at extending the project's reach. These features, though few in number, may be designed as distribution levers, allowing the EP to reach broader audiences without losing artistic coherence.

Pour les vrais is therefore an EP that raises as many questions as it offers answers. It embodies a will for diversification without deviation, a discreet but non-negligible production, and carefully chosen collaborations. The absence of named producers limits the technical understanding of the project, but it also opens up space for free interpretation — which, in itself, is a form of strength. The EP is not a return, nor a turning point, but a necessary step in an artistic trajectory that continues to be built.
