Waka Flocka Flame - Flockaveli

Flockaveli: a cult album inspired by Tupac and named after Machiavel

Released on October 5, 2019 via labels Asylum Records, Warner Bros. Records, and 1017 Brick Squad, this record marks the first studio album from Waka Flocka Flame. The track is an original linguistic construction that combines the rapper's name with that of Italian political theorist Machiavel. The opus draws direct inspiration from rapper Tupac Shakur and arrives at the precise moment when trap sound, characterized by imposing synthesizers and punchy 808s, began to redefine street rap codes. Often cited for having perfected a new sound that quickly became the genre's standard while digesting twenty years of gangsta rap heritage, it features production dominated by the vision of Lex Luger, Drumma Boy, and Lil' Jon with imposing instrumentation
